IAB Global Privacy Platform support in every SDK

GPP strings now come from every Cookie Panda SDK — web, iOS, Android, Flutter and connected TV — tested against a shared set of IAB-generated vectors.

The IAB Global Privacy Platform (GPP) is how US national and state privacy choices travel through the ad-tech ecosystem. Cookie Panda now emits GPP strings from every SDK we ship: web, iOS, Android, Flutter and our connected-TV SDKs.

One set of test vectors for every platform

GPP encoding is easy to get subtly wrong, and a string that's valid on the web but different in your app is a compliance problem. So every SDK is tested against the same set of IAB-generated test vectors. If one platform's encoder drifts, its tests fail.

How to read it

On the web, GPP is available through the standard window.__gpp API, next to window.__tcfapi for the TCF:

const p = window.CookiePanda.getAdParams();
// p.gpp and p.gpp_sid are ready for GAM, IMA, Prebid and OpenRTB

On mobile and TV, the SDKs write the standard GPP keys so in-app ad SDKs can read them without extra code.
